The Vermont Cheese Council is a not-for profit organization which provides the community of Vermont cheesemakers with technical assistance to continually improve their cheeses. The Vermont Cheese Council also operates to expose the general public to the high quality and diversity of Vermont cheese.
Our members believe that cheesemaking is a sustainable industry that is vibrant, growing, and cooperative. The council supports its Vermont community, its agricultural practices and the importance of sustaining its working rural landscape. The council is committed to the health, growth and success of each of our members.
