FRANKLIN FOODS WINS NATIONAL FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY AWARD 

(December, 2000 Enosburg Falls, VT)  Franklin Foods, Inc. is the recipient of this year's FOOD QUALITY AWARD 2000, sponsored by Food Quality magazine.  The award was presented in recognition of outstanding achievement in quality and safety programs to a North American food company. 

Franklin Foods is a manufacturer of retail, food service and private label flavored cream cheeses, cream cheese dips, baker's cheese, mascarpone and fresh salsas.  Brands sold by the company include All Season's Kitchen®, Bruegger's® Retail, HAHN'S® Food Service, and Lombardi's Italian Classics'. 

A panel of Food Quality editors, advisors and industry experts selected Franklin Foods from a field of food manufacturers, suppliers, processors, distributors, wholesalers and retailers.  The company's winning entry included a description of how safety, education and quality assurance programs have positively impacted the company's business. 

Curtt Perry, Quality Assurance Manager, was presented with the award at Food Quality's annual conference, held in Philadelphia. Franklin Foods will be the cover story in the magazine's November/December issue.
